Why Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Healthcare should be built around the relationship between you and your provider—not the requirements of an insurance company.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based model that gives you unlimited access to your primary care provider for a simple monthly fee. By removing insurance from routine primary care, we can focus on what matters most: providing personalized, high-quality care when you need it.
❋ A Stronger Patient-Provider Relationship
Trust is built over time. With fewer patients and more availability, your provider gets to know your medical history, your lifestyle, and your health goals. That continuity leads to more personalized recommendations and a better overall healthcare experience.
Need an appointment? DPC practices offer same-day or next-day visits, along with direct communication by phone, text, or secure messaging. Instead of waiting weeks for an appointment or navigating call centers, you have a direct connection to your healthcare team.
❋ Better Access
When your provider has the time to know you, healthcare becomes proactive rather than reactive. Regular follow-up, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and lifestyle counseling become a natural part of your care instead of something squeezed into a few minutes.
As an integrative practice, we look at the whole picture. Your nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, relationships, and other lifestyle factors all play an important role in your health. By addressing these areas alongside traditional medical care, we help you build a strong foundation for lasting wellness while effectively managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
Your monthly membership covers most primary care services with no copays, deductibles, or surprise bills. You'll know exactly what you're paying for, making it easier to budget for your healthcare.
❋ Transparent, Predictable Pricing
❋ Care That Focuses on Prevention
At our practice, we combine the accessibility of Direct Primary Care with an integrative approach to medicine.
Integrative primary care blends evidence-based conventional medicine with lifestyle and complementary therapies when appropriate. Rather than focusing only on treating symptoms, we take the time to understand the whole person—including nutrition, sleep, movement, stress, mental well-being, environmental factors, and other contributors to health.
Our goal is to identify and address the root causes of illness whenever possible while using the best available medical evidence to guide treatment. We believe healthcare should be personalized, collaborative, and focused on helping you achieve long-term wellness—not simply managing disease.
Whether you're seeking preventive care, support for chronic conditions, or guidance on optimizing your health, we'll partner with you to develop a care plan that reflects your individual needs and goals.
What is Integrative Primary Care?
Traditional insurance-based practices often have to schedule brief appointments and see a high volume of patients each day. In a Direct Primary Care practice, visits are longer and never rushed, allowing time to fully understand your concerns, answer your questions, and create a care plan that fits your goals.
❋ More Time With Your Provider
Direct Primary Care membership is not health insurance and does not cover the costs of emergency care, hospitalization, surgeries, specialist care, advanced imaging, or other medical services provided outside of our practice.
If you have health insurance, your DPC membership complements your coverage by providing accessible, relationship-based primary care without copays or insurance billing for services included in your membership.
If you do not have health insurance, you also could benefit from becoming a member of our practice. Many patients choose Direct Primary Care because it offers affordable, transparent access to routine medical care. However, it is important to understand that your membership does not provide financial protection for unexpected or major medical expenses. We encourage every patient to carefully consider their individual healthcare coverage needs.
❋ Do I Still Need Insurance?
Direct Primary Care is an excellent option for individuals and families who value convenient access, longer appointments, transparent pricing, and a lasting relationship with their physician. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, looking to stay healthy through preventive care, or simply want a better healthcare experience, DPC offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional insurance-based model.
At our practice, our commitment is simple: to provide thoughtful, personalized healthcare that puts you first. Through the combination of Direct Primary Care and Integrative Medicine, you'll receive more time, better access, and a physician who is dedicated to understanding your health as a whole—not just treating individual symptoms.
